Countryside Bank's Automatic Transfer Overdraft Protection program is designed to help protect you, our customer, from the inconvenience of an overdraft charge or merchant fees incurred when overdrawing your personal checking accounts.
This is ideal for customers who maintain balances in other checking or savings accounts with us.
Here's how it works: You arrange funds to be automatically transferred, in increments of $100, from one checking or savings accounts with us into another personal checking account when it becomes overdrawn or meets a pre-selected target balance. Please be aware that your transfers from savings or money market accounts have a transaction limitation per month.
If this is the program for you, please contact one of our Customer Service Representatives at the Syracuse branch at (402) 269-2100 or the Unadilla branch at (402) 828-3210 and they will be happy to assist you in setting up your Automatic Transfer Overdraft Protection program. Once the program is in effect you may cancel at any time simply by contacting a Customer Service Representative at one of the numbers listed above.
Make deposits or payments by mail whenever you can't get to the bank. For security purposes we do not recommend that you send cash in your bank by mail deposits. Bill Pay is available for both Personal and Business users! Pay your bills with just a few clicks and save the expense of stamps and envelopes. You can set up automatic payments and email reminders, learn more in the Online Banking section.

Use your Mastercard Debit Card anywhere Mastercard is accepted to make purchases and withdraw cash. Transactions are debited directly from your account. You have the purchasing power of a check with the convenience of a credit card.
We have ATM's at our Syracuse Branch Drive-Thru, and at the Nitty Gritty Gas & Thrift. You may also use your Countryside Mastercard Debit Card at any ATM located within the MoneyPass system without a surcharge. Just look for any ATM with the MoneyPass logo, or go to the MoneyPass website, or download the MoneyPass app from Google Play or Apple's App Store to locate a surcharge free ATM!
